i am addicted to dictionary.com. i dont feel like my vocab or grammar is the best, so i'm always looking up words to improve this. but things never stick with me without repetition or taking notes. if i dont write it down, i'll forget it in a heartbeat. and its not even the writing that helps. its not like the definition sticks in my head afterwards. i create a mental picture while writing that i refer back to when necessary. i'll look back at myself writing, then look at what i wrote to remember. weird how i think, i kno. all this happens in like 3-5 secs.
and i'm amazed at salary.com's salary wizard and cost of living calculator. i love working with equations. it helps me understand the process of what is happening, so i love working with numbers in that sense. i was a math and science kid growing up, and in high school i took college physics for fun my senior year. it worked the hell outta my brain, but it was fun, doing lab experiments and all. the fact that i can plug in some numbers and words into the these little fields, and behind the scenes of this webpage, in like 2 secs, all this information appears in front of me is astonishing.
whatever. thats just me being a nerd.
