ashton worthington took the time out to learn the very labor intensive and ancient film developing process for this show called the albumen process. invented in 1850, the process involves egg whites, salt, sunlight, time to dry, gold and silver solutions; a lot as you can see. the "other places, other times" show will feature 25 albumen prints, all hand made and one of kind. the opening reception is this thursday, july 16, 2009 at studio1032 from 5-9. wine and cheese will be served. rsvp to studio@ashtonphotography.com.
