va$htie, aka "downtown's sweetheart", has just relaunched her namesake website. the new site features illustrations galore of the people she surrounds herself with, as well as press and reels from the creative visionary. va$htie is the jill of all trades. she's trained in the art of film, cultured herself in the world of art and fashion, and has built relationships with some of the hardest working people in the industry, as well as up and coming tastemakers. what's great about va$htie, so i hear, is that she is truly humble and values an environment where everyone is welcomed. this is the world she is creating, and i can't wait to meet her. hopefully we can collaborate one day.
in other va$htie news, violette, va$htie's streetwear line, will be relaunching it's website as well. i believe the launch will happen sometime this week or next. in the meantime, check out her video lookbook shoot from fall 08 to see what its all about.
