so while i was in l.a, my friend mike inspired me to start taking self-portraits. there's also this one artist by the name of cindy sherman who takes self-portraits to the next level. her work was being featured at the LACMA, which i previewed, and was also very inspiring...she goes to great lengths and uses such innovations to create these "self-portraits" which actually become portrayals of other people...now i'm not trying imitate her kind of work at all, i'm just simply trying to document a fashion statement, like my friend mike had in mind...beginner's mark...go!
