i wasn't a fan of this song previous to the video. a visual can always take an idea a step forward and beyond. i luv the juxtaposition of high fashion, avant garde gareth pugh pieces against the industrial setting and beyonce's ghetto hood choregraphy. and to keep things cohesive, yet interesting, the video was shot in black and white and with gritty freehand technique, making using of angles and the warehouse's layout.
