i've been in the market for a new camera...

i love this site called polapremium.com! this site specializes in rare, discontinued, vintage cameras and films; in particular, polaroids, which i'm secretly obsessed with. its only a secret bc i'm afraid to walk around instantly snapshooting people with a big ass camera. i'm afraid they'll take the pic and run. yoink!...anywho, i've been looking to purchase this holgaroid camera for myself since around x-mas, which is loooonng overdue. everyday i watch the rarity deplete rite before my eyes. i just can't really justify paying $156 for a supped up $20 camera. i do like the versatility of using different types/sizes of film, and of couse the nostalgic feeling polaroid pics bring but again, $156, plus a few $16 a pop discontinued film, and oh, its shipping from hungary! i'll easily spend close to $300...

and i'm so sad my other option, this pinhole 100, which also developed type 80 and 100 film but used a different lense effect and didn't use a flash, has sold out...

i also like this olive type 80 camera. this japanese designed camera was awarded best camera and packaging design and was exclusive only to europe...ooooooohhh!!!

i'll prolly end up tapping out my funds for the holgaroid just to take part in keeping alive a dying aesthetic...

what do you think?
