anywho, i created this "to you tuesday" simply because i missed "music monday" which is a common trending topic on twitter. get with it people!
so i received an email from someone i didn't know. to my personal email. from brandun deshay. i totally thought of my girl shay from detroit. it would've been random, but welcomed fer sure. has anyone heard of this guy? apparently, he's a rapper, who needs to do more marketing. his friends didn't even know he rapped. lol. but if you google him, you will see he has an internet presence from his last 2 mixtapes.
so if i understand correctly, he's working on an ep, which will feature this song, "imaginary weekend with her". wwhhew, long name. the ep, volume: 3! to get ready, will have all original production and quality acoustics. and hopefully quality artwork. i can honestly say i judge a book by its cover, and this cover art is not saying much...but the song does surpass the artwork. a "power rangers hologram over an iconic chicago landmark with a shitty font" is not what you get from the song...i hear a pharrell-esque minimal, yet feminine pretty beat, with a mikey rocks voice laying d-win/n.e.r.d lyrics down...its a love song inspired by his current muse, deandrea. you can never go wrong with a thug love song. women will be your biggest supporters!
