also in music, i just discovered maggie horn, finally, for myself. i've heard the name, never the music, like most artists. i'm sure we may have even met and possibly partied together, but never knew her work. if i did, i'd prolly been a groupie and freakishly awkward around her. thanks to my trusty email newsletters, i ran across her new project with dj/producer sammy bananas of fool's gold. the mixtape is a compilation of popular tracks, not remixes or covers, but modern, dance floor worthy reworks that still embodies originality. all 18 tracks can be downloaded individually from rcdlbl.com.
