point blank period...for anyone who doesn't know, i am a bit obsessed with the 60's/70's. the free love, the liberated women, no bras, long hair, afros, marijuana, the no worries attitude, short shorts! on everyone! it would've been trouble for me had i been able to live during that time. i definitely would've been a stoner flower child and prolly would've had somebody's love child.(i still think of fulfilling this dream sometime) i'm usually pretty inclined to watch movies from this period, just so i can live vicariously through the actors. i remember watching the devils rejects (2005) directed by rob zombie, and all i could think about was how awesome this movie was because of the soundtrack. it took me a long time to find, (for free) but i finally downloaded the soundtrack. i'm really into this hippie rock ish. it just makes me wanna chill on the beach, smoke a joint and dream. (just watched blow last nite too) but whats the point of dreaming if you don't pursue those dreams? er, uuumm, my point is, this soundtrack is so great! and with the combination of pandora.com to help me find similar artists, like jimmy hendrix, the eagles, lynyrd skynyrd, elvin bishop, terry reid, my itunes is gonna get a much needed refreshment of music.
